ICONPO V was held on 27-28 August 2015 hosted by MSU- Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Finster Auditorium, Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City, Philippines and co hosted by Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU), Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) and University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP). The themes of this event is “ ASEAN Integration: Opportunities and Challenges”. The reason of this themes just because we know that the onset of the ASEAN Integration in 2015, it is imperative for APSPA to take a serious look at the new landscape of the region under said phenomenon to be an active participant in conceptualizing its structures and processes. Certainly, it shall bring challenges and opportunities also by timely projecting into them; the academe is more likely to influence governance in the region.
