The Asia Pacific Society of Public Affairs (APSPA) was founded to promote and develop academic study and exchange on public organizations, public administration, and public management in Asia and around the world. The governments and society of the Asia-Pacific region appear unprepared to face a new era of rapid growth and globalization. In an era when information access is becoming faster and more widespread, and physical barriers are disappearing as a result of technological improvements, it is critical to promote public discourse, communication, and cooperation among many stakeholders.
