SEMARANG, Suara Muhammadiyah – Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah awarded the title of Honorary Warrior to 20 Muhammadiyah residents who were considered to have made a real contribution to the development and development of the organization.
The Honorary Warrior Title is a special award from a pencak silat college or official institution to community leaders, officials, or leaders. This title is given as a form of respect for their services, support, or role in advancing pencak silat and the nation’s culture, without having to go through a long physical training level.
The award was given directly by the Chairman of the Sacred Sites of Putera Muhammadiyah, Afnan Hadikusumo in the Opening Ceremony of the XVI Congress of the Sacred Sites of the Sacred Princes of Muhammadiyah in Semarang.
“By saying bismillah, I inaugurate you as Honorary Warriors of the Holy Site,” said Afnan, Saturday (8/8/2026).

The Organizing Committee of the Tapak Suci Congress, Rony Syaifullah, previously said that there are special requirements for recipients of the title of Honorary Warrior, namely they must be Muhammadiyah citizens.
However, the recipients are not practitioners or activists of Tapak Suci, but Muhammadiyah residents who are considered to have made a real contribution to the development, institutional progress, and development of Tapak Suci. “You must have a standard number of Muhammadiyah, of course, when you will become an Honorary Warrior of the Holy Site, you must become a member of the sacred site,” said Rony in the Hall of the Joint Lecture Building (GKB) 2 of the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus), Wednesday (5/8).
